This is the third version of Osmose. It has been entirely recoded, in an object-oriented perspective. Expand
Osmose fundamental hypothesis remain the same (opportunistic size-based predation) but all the processes are now handled at school level and coded in different ways than it was in the previous versions. The input format is different and not compatible with previous versions of Osmose. File osmose-v3.zip provides the source code of the application. It is distributed as a Netbeans project (www.netbeans.org). File config-osm-v3.zip contains a default Osmose configuration, based on the Benguela ecosystem. For the release of Osmose 3, a workshop was held at IRD Sète (France), the 18-20 of March 2003. File ws2013-docs.zip gatherers together all the documents that were presented during the workshop. File ws2013-oop-java.zip is a basic Java program that was used during the workshop to exemplify how Java works. File ws2009-docs.zip gathers together all the slide-shows and the documentations that were delivered during the workshop. File ws2009-osmose.zip corresponds to the source code of Osmose that was distributed in 2009. File ws2009-config.zip contains the default Osmose configuration, based on the Benguela ecosystem that was used to exemplify how Osmose works. The low trophic level forcing files are not included.
